For the first time in 'Fairway to Heaven' history, we will be based of the west coast of Scotland just south of Glasgow to relish and play on the world class courses of that area. We will be staying at the charming Piersland House Hotel – a former residence of the Johnnie Walker family with individual en suite single rooms, located directly opposite the first tee of the Royal Troon Championship Links course, home of eight British Open Championships. In addition to Royal Troon, we will be playing Western Gailes, Prestwick, Royal Troon Portland, and Kilmarnock Barassie – all venues or qualifying courses for such championships as The British Open, The British Senior Open, The British Amateur, or The Scottish Amateur. All of these courses date back to the 1800's with rich history and heritage.

We will once again return to the Home of Golf for our 2013 programme, playing the courses of the St Andrews Links Trust as well as other notable local favourites. Details of the courses and programme will be available later in the year but to register your interest, please email Joan Shafer.
